Joe grew up in Valdosta, Ga. He began his farming career in South Georgia in 2000. He grows vegetables on a two acre plot of land in Atlanta. He grows 100 different varieties spread across 40 different crops. Joe markets his food through a community-supported agriculture program with around 100 members. He also sells his food at the East Atlanta Village farmers market and to local restaurants.
